Margaret Helen O'Brien, known affectionately as Peggy, passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on December 19, 1946, in Washington, D.C. and most recently resided in Tucson, AZ. Margaret lived life to the fullest, and her adventurous spirit was truly contagious.
Margaret had a deep love for rock climbing and traveling, always seeking the thrill of new experiences. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a private pilot, achieving her license and soaring through the skies with joy. Anchorage, Alaska held a special place in her heart, as it captured the beauty of nature that she cherished.
Margaret was a connoisseur in the world of music, appreciating all genres and artists. She had a knack for learning languages and was fluent in American Sign Language. Margaret's skills as an interpreter and teacher were admired, and she made a meaningful impact in the lives of her students.
With a passion for healthy eating, Margaret enjoyed savoring nutritious food. However, her greatest treasure was her family. She was proud to be a mother to her two sons, Zachary and Jeremiah, and a grandmother to her adored grandson, Journey.
Her mantra in life was, "As long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you will eventually get to where you are going." Margaret's positive outlook and unwavering determination were contagious, inspiring everyone around her.
Margaret Helen O'Brien will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her zest for life and her ability to spread joy wherever she went.
To help pay for the cremation and services. Since April of last year I've been disabled and have been having difficulty finding employment. Any help will help Margaret and her family put her to rest. Thank you
