Her beautiful babies that she brought into the world.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Casey. Born on September 21, 1982, in Dayton, Ohio, she departed from us on September 25, 2024, in her beloved hometown.
Though she was soft-spoken, Margaret's vibrant spirit profoundly resonated with those around her, allowing her to create meaningful connections. Celebrated for her creativity and zest for life, she possessed a remarkable talent for transforming ordinary materials into beautiful art pieces that reflected her artistic essence.
A devoted gardener, she earned the endearing title of "Propagator of Plants," with her flourishing garden showcasing her nurturing spirit and keen eye for detail.
Professionally, Margaret dedicated nine years to Elite Catering, a prestigious catering company, where she prepared exquisite dishes for special occasions, bringing joy to countless families.
Margaret held her three cherished children—Destiny Casey, Riley Casey, and Tristan Coker—close to her heart, finding immense joy in their lives. She was a devoted wife to Michael Coker Jr. and shared a strong bond with her sister Jessica (Justin) Casey-Clever, always looking out for one another. She is also survived by her siblings, Melissa Casey and Brett Casey. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, especially her sister-like best friend, Kimberly "Kimmie" Tincher, with whom she shared a familial connection.
Additionally, her love extended to her nieces and nephews—Alyssa Shepherd, Jessie (Keeley) Casey, D’Angelo Cunningham, Jeriah Rainy, and great-niece, Melia Casey, who were fortunate to experience her warmth and kindness.
In Heaven, Margaret has reunited with her father, John Allen Casey; her mother, Carol Ann (Kisabeth) Casey; her brother, Marcus Allen Casey; and her great-nephew, Edward Casey.
Margaret was a passionate football fan, she proudly supported the San Francisco 49ers, and her unique style was evident in her impressive collection of Michael Jordan sneakers.
Her greatest strength lay in her steadfast loyalty; she deeply empathized with the struggles of others, illuminating their lives with encouragement and support, even while facing her own challenges.
Though Margaret will be profoundly missed, her beautiful spirit and the love she shared with family and friends will always be remembered. As an avid Harry Potter fan, we encourage you to think of Margaret when recalling the words from the Harry Potter series: "But know this; the ones that love us never really leave us." This sentiment perfectly embodies her belief in the enduring bonds with loved ones, even after their departure, and reassures us that she will always remain with us through the memories and stories we hold dear.
The family kindly asks for privacy as they prepare for Margaret's final farewell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund created for her children to help ease their financial burdens during this difficult time.
