Marcy Nicole Lara, born on October 4, 1995, in Scottsbluff, NE, passed away on September 28, 2024, in Terrytown, NE. A loving partner to Carmen Reyes for the past ten years, Marcy was known for her vibrant spirit and her unwavering dedication to those she loved.
Marcy had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She took immense pride in helping to raise her siblings and her beloved cousin, Jocelyn Ruby Reyes, whom she considered her own. Her family was her world, and she found joy in being there for them, showing her love through her many acts of kindness.
In her free time, Marcy enjoyed working on her yard and taking on various side jobs. She had a passion for basketball and football, and her infectious energy could light up any room. With her goofy personality and outgoing nature, she could easily make friends in just a matter of seconds. No matter the situation, Marcy could make anyone laugh, earning her the beloved title of "The Life of the Party."
Marcy’s favorite foods included her mom's potato salad, Hot Cheetos with bean dip, and bean burritos without onion. Her cherished pets included a rooster named Chion and a dog named Brownie, who brought her much joy.
She is survived by her parents, Missy Pacheco and Jose Lara, her siblings: Jose Lara, Brandon Little Spotted Horse, Alonso Little Spotted Horse, Ladislo Pacheco, Pedro Pacheco Jr., and Gustavo Pacheco, as well as her niece, Joselyn Lara. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alex Lara.
A devoted Catholic, Marcy’s faith was an integral part of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her, as she truly made a lasting impact on the lives of those around her.
