Marcellus Christopher Hall Sr. was born December 16th 1970 to Marvin Obie Hall Sr and Alma Sheilds Hall in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was a member at Rising Star Missionary Babtist Church, under guidance of Pastor Andrew Braxton. He considered this his spiritual home. He joined as a young man and raised his family there. He continued to attend up until his untimely departure.

Marcellus was educated in the Cleveland public school system, graduating from Collinwood High in 1989. While at Collinwood, he pledged his loyalty to Nikee Phi Psi Fraternity (Penetrators Chapter) in July 1986.

After graduation, he immediately went into the workforce and always bet on himself in pursuit of his goals. He married Diana Garthrite Hall in 1993 and after 28 years of marriage they parted ways. While he was no stranger to working, he did have two jobs early on that excited him most; selling Kirby vacuums and being a licensed barber. Marcellus had a natural gift of drawing art and with that artistry and passion for cutting hair, he birthed Phenomenal Results Barber salons, LLC in the mid-2000s. While perfecting his craft, he often mentored young barbers. This also pushed him towards another goal of owning a barber college. Later in life he enjoyed his time over the road as a class A tractor trailer driver/owner operator, but always kept his eye on achieving his barber college. His health started to decline due to the rigorous work schedule he maintained. Those that knew him, know that he was a stubborn workaholic , loved his family and would do anything for them.

Marcellus was called home to glory on May 19th, 2023 to be with the Lord and his parents that proceeded him in death. He leaves many to celebrate his life of the party personality. None more important than his children Cherri Lively, Briana Maxwell (Vincent), Marcellus Jr. and Travis Bush all of Cleveland, Oh. His grandchildren Nevaeh Hall, Ava Marks, Naomi, Nevahni and Vince Jr. Maxwell. His siblings Marvin Jr of Atlanta Ga , Verona Wainwright and Sophia Hall of Youngstown, Oh, Marcotis Hall Sr of Durham, Nc, Marla Hall and Sherrlyn Lewis(James) both of Atlanta, Ga and Lavintti Hall of Cuba. There are a host of other Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, along with a unique set of Friends from Cliffview(the Hilltop) and others that will forever celebrate him.
