Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Romo, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on September 8, 2025, at the age of 30.

Manuel was born on March 15, 1995, in El Paso, Texas, to Luz and Enrique Romo. From an early age, he was known for his boundless energy, infectious laughter, and warm, generous spirit. He had an uncanny ability to bring people together, with his kind heart and genuine interest in others.

A graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso, Manuel pursued a career in Electrical Engineering, where he quickly became known for his passion, dedication, and innovative thinking. His colleagues and friends admired him for his work ethic and his unwavering desire to help others, both professionally and personally.

In his personal life, Manuel was a devoted brother, who cherished time with his siblings. He had a special bond with his late grandmother, always lending a helping hand to her or offering a listening ear whenever she had needed it. He also found immense joy in running, and his enthusiasm for life was contagious.

Manuel's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, brothers Alejandro and Raul, and sister Rebecca, along with countless friends who will carry his memory with them forever.

A celebration of Manuel’s life will be held on September 18, 2025 at 4800 Tholos Court, El Paso, TX, 79924 at 6:00 p.m.

The viewing will be held on September 19, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes on Hondo Pass at 5:30 p.m. The burial will be held on September 20, 2025 at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery at 9:00 a.m.

Though his time with us was far too short, Manuel's legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will endure forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
