Mallory Richard McMillan, known affectionately as "Malv," passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born on December 12, 1946, in Quitman, Texas, and had resided in Dallas, Texas, at the time of his passing.
Mallory had a deep passion for music, particularly classical rock, with Chicago and the Eagles being among his favorite bands. He not only enjoyed listening to their timeless melodies but also had a talent for playing the harmonica and drums.
Outside of his musical pursuits, Mallory held a career in retail, where he made many lasting connections with colleagues and customers. His friendly demeanor and warm smile touched the lives of those he encountered.
In his free time, Mallory found joy in watching football, cheering on the Cowboys.
Mallory's devotion to his loved ones was evident through his cherished marriage to Louise Smith. They shared countless special moments together and supported one another throughout their journey.
He is survived by his sisters, Ollie Conger and Ida Russell, Mallory's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his personal interests, Mallory was involved in the Dallas Theater, contributing to the arts community and enriching the lives of others through his passion for the performing arts.
