It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn “Nona” Raphael, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 66 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on December 21, 1958, in Miami, Florida, Lynn was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and cherished friend.
She graduated from Fletcher High School and had a deep love for cooking and baking, which she inherited from her mother. Lynn perfected her mother’s famous creamed corn and often baked for her loved ones. She was known for her wit and humor and treasured spending time with her family.
Lynn was always there to support her family at any event, milestone, or accomplishment. Family meant everything to her, and she was affectionately known as “Nona” by her grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Restoration Baptist Church, located at 9714 Ridge Blvd, Jacksonville, FL.
Lynn’s kindness, strength, and love will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
