favorite hobbies were going to the casino, trucking, spending time outside rather than staying indoors, traveling, being around people, enjoying life, playing pool, and being the life of the party and she loved skating and fishing and hunting and shooting guns growing up!
She had a diverse palate when it came to her favorite foods. Pizza, Mexican dishes, seasoned fries, a good hamburger or steak fresh off the grill—she enjoyed them all. It was clear that she had no picky tendencies and savored a wide range of culinary delights, even catfish and seafood.
Loved a lot of music. Growing up, I could remember hearing these people in the truck on old 8-tracks or cassette players and even on the radio sometimes. She adapted to anything with a heartbeat and even rocknroll or if it made your feet dance. She was dancing to it and even singing and clapping her hands, so into the beat or the song. Some of her favorite artists were Conway Twitty, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Glen Campbell.
She was truly dedicated to her family and held them dear to her heart. She would go to great lengths to ensure their well-being. Also growing up she was a hard worker and good mother and grandmother and was very strong woman and even her younger days a cheerleader a dancer and even better she taught us how to fish and hunt and loved camping.
Always loved nothing more than helping others. She was incredibly charitable, always putting others first, especially her children. Lynda had a big heart and an unwavering desire to make the world a better place. She constantly strived to ensure that everyone around her had everything they needed and took great joy in seeing others happy, regardless of the circumstances.
Favorite place in the world would have been the beaches here in Brazoria County. Just putting her feet in the sand or enjoying a a day with seagulls, watching them while she ran along the shores, wading her feet in the water or feeling the waves along the shore—it brought her so much joy, she definitely loved traveling where ever her family was at.
She enjoyed getting lost in the adventures of family movies, the thrill of mysteries, the timeless charm of old classics, action movies.
I am not sure if she was into sports, unless we were playing a sport together. If we were, she loved it and would show us how to play ball or toss a football. She was great at it growing up and I even remember her rooting for my brother and my sisters in their sports activities. She would always help us through it.
