He was told that he was born in a bunker known as Vault 101, when in reality, he was born in the basement of the Jefferson Memorial. They died where they were born.

Lone Wanderer. Quest Taker. Slave Trader. Brother of Steel, Member of Lyon's Pride Candidate for Vice President of the Enclave
Project Purity control room.
He lives in the post-apocalyptic ruins of Washington DC 200 years after a nuclear war. His mother died giving birth to him, leaving his father James as the only constant in his life. His whole life, he was led to believe he was born in Vault 101. He left the Vault at age 19 to search for his estranged father. After finding his father, he helps him and a group of scientists to create a massive water purifier at the Jefferson Memorial they started on before you were born. While doing so, the memorial was attacked by a paramilitary group known as the Enclave. The Enclave's Colonel Autumn murdered James. Fleeing the memorial, lunaTic met with the Bortherhood of Steel, a paramilitary group obsessed with restoring order and collecting dangerous technology. The Brotherhood aided lunaTic in locating the last piece needed for the purifier. They then aided in taking back the Jefferson Memorial from the Enlcave.

LunaTic's favorite pastimes included indulging in ice-cold Nuka Cola, embarking on pointless side quests, and venturing into random metro tunnels. They found joy in facing and defeating Super Mutants, relishing in the thrill and the loot they acquired along the way.
The music of The Inkspots, Cole Porter, Tex Beneke, and Allan Gray brought LunaTic solace in the desolate wasteland they called home.
Raised under the belief that they were born in Vault 101, LunaTic later discovered the truth - they were born in the basement of the Jefferson Memorial. LunaTic's unwavering love for killing Super Mutants and their dedication to their father, James, were constants throughout their life.
As a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, LunaTic played a crucial role in assisting their father and a group of scientists in constructing a monumental water purifier at the Jefferson Memorial. This endeavor was met with adversity when the Enclave, a paramilitary group, attacked the memorial, resulting in the tragic loss of their father.
