Luis Montalvo, born on May 23, 1968, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on October 24, 2024, in New Rochelle, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Montalvo, and their three children, Jesenia, Jasmine, and Louis Montalvo, as well as his cherished grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
Luis, affectionately known as "Mafia," was a vibrant soul who brought laughter and light into the lives of those around him. He enjoyed grilling steaks, fishing, and spending time on the couch, often indulging in his favorite shows on the Fishing Channel. Luis had a passion for home-cooked meals and was always eager to share delicious food with family and friends.
Traveling was one of his great loves, with Florida holding a special place in his heart. Every Sunday, he would make it a point to call his kids, reminding them of his unyielding love and support. His proudest accomplishment was purchasing property in his homeland of Puerto Rico, a testament to his hard work in the construction industry.
Luis is remembered not only for his sense of humor and lively spirit but also for his unforgettable quotes, such as his signature saying, "You gotta be kidding me motherfucker." He had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter to any gathering, making him a beloved figure among friends and family.
He is also survived by his sister Maritza Montalvo and brother Omar Montalvo, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Luis Montalvo will be missed dearly but will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
