Lucy Arlene Moore, lovingly known as Lucy Moore, was born on October 29, 1954, in Independence, LA, to parents John Lee Moore and Mary Madelina Moore. She recently resided in Sacramento, CA. Lucy had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies such as volunteering, archery, bowling, and collecting porcelain dolls and clowns. She also had a passion for certain foods like fried catfish, turnip greens, and okra.

Lucy's taste in music included favorite bands and artists such as Whitney Houston, Mario, Al Greene, and Bobby Womack. She had a remarkable life story, having worked as a manager at McWhorter's Grocery store at the young age of 16. Throughout her life, she managed a hotel, owned a bar and grill, and even founded Lucy's Total Care.

Lucy's proudest accomplishments include graduating with honors and obtaining 25 certificates. She was a certified welder, EMT, and associate teacher with a major in Child Development. Her passion for education led her to attend San Diego State University, Mesa College, Grossmont College, and American River College.

Family was of utmost importance to Lucy. She leaves behind her children: Arletta Gene Moore, Timothy Lee Moore, Joey Tony Andre Moore, Denise Aisha Brown, Brittany Junicea Mary Bloodsaw Pena, and Dennis Justin Bloodsaw. She was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, including Travon, Konscious, Landyn, Bryson, Londell, Kayden, Dakota, Lawerence Jr, Isaiah, Justin, Zariah, Anaija, Kamilah, Lyric, Yasiina, and Summer.

Lucy's strong faith in Jehovah God was evident throughout her life. Her love for Jehovah, children, and witnessing the sunset over the ocean brought her immense joy. She lived by her favorite Bible scripture, Revelation 21:4, which offered her comfort and hope.

In addition to her personal achievements, Lucy made a positive impact on others through her volunteer work at Mercy Acute Hospital. She was a caring and compassionate individual who touched the lives of those around her. As a Jehovah's Witness, Lucy's beliefs shaped her perspective on life, and she shared her faith with her loved ones.

Lucy Moore will be remembered for her unwavering love, resilience, and her ability to find joy in the midst of challenges. She leaves behind a legacy of strength and kindness. Lucy will forever be missed by her siblings, Helen Latham, Rosella Briggs, Johnni Moore, Marie Moore, Moses James Moore, Kathy Ann Jimison, and Johnson Curtis Jimison, as well as other family members and friends. Her impact on their lives will never be forgotten.
