Lucy Arlene Moore, lovingly known as Lucy Moore, was born on October 29, 1954, in Independence, LA, to parents John Lee Moore and Mary Madelina Moore. She recently resided in Sacramento, CA. Lucy had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies such as volunteering, archery, bowling, and collecting porcelain dolls and clowns. She also had a passion for certain foods like fried catfish, turnip greens, and okra.

Lucy's taste in music included favorite bands and artists such as Whitney Houston, Mario, Al Greene, and Bobby Womack. She had a remarkable life story, having worked as a manager at McWhorter's Grocery store at the young age of 16. Throughout her life, she managed a hotel, owned a bar and grill, and even founded Lucy's Total Care.

Lucy's proudest accomplishments include graduating with honors and obtaining 25 certificates. She was a certified welder, EMT, and associate teacher with a major in Child Development. Her passion for education led her to attend San Diego State University, Mesa College, Grossmont College, and American River College.

Lucy's strong faith in Jehovah God was evident throughout her life. Her love for Jehovah, children, and witnessing the sunset over the ocean brought her immense joy. She lived by her favorite Bible scripture, Revelation 21:4, which offered her comfort and hope.
