Lucio B. Cisneros, born on May 20, 1939, in Odem, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, in his hometown. A beloved member of his community, Lucio was known for his warm personality and his cherished role as a family man. He found joy in spending quality time with his loved ones, often gathering for laughter and stories.

Lucio had a passion for playing pool, a game he enjoyed with friends and family alike. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he could always be found cheering for his favorite teams, bringing an infectious energy to any game day gathering. He was also recognized for his distinctive style, often seen wearing his signature fedora hat, a symbol of his unique charm.

Lucio will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with his kindness and spirit. His legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters Irma and Frank Mata, Lucia and Richard Martinez of Hearne, Texas.

Two sons Joel and Janet Cisneros of San Antonio, Texas and Mario Cisneros of Odem, Texas.

Two sisters: Amelia Cantu of New Braunfels, and Maria Brown of Ingelside, Texas.

He leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

His ex-wife Hilda Cisneros whom he lived with.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son Lucio Cruz Cisneros, his parents Simona and Francisco Cisneros. His brothers, Frank, Ruben and Mario Cisneros.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, September 1 at Ritchea Gonzales Funeral in Sinton. Texas. Burial was held on Saturday, September 14 at St. Jose Cemetery in Hearne, Texas.
