She just adored music. She always listened to her Calvin Richardson channel on Pandora & she loved R&B & Gospel music.
She placed God first in her life. She loved Angels. She loved Monkeys. She was a Nurse for over 30 years.
Spending time with friends & family. Listening to music after work and cleaning.
She loved the water, so her favorite place was being anywhere near the ocean or a lake.
She loved to watch her Judge shows & Judge Judy was her favorite Judge. She also loved Cop shows, Tyler Perry shows & Reality shows.
She wasn't big on professional sports but she enjoyed watching her grand babies play any sports.
Loretta L. Morgan, 67 of San Antonio, TX peacefully gained her wings on April 14, 2026 with her 3 adult children, daughter in law, both son in laws, grandchildren & great grandson at her bedside; her favorite music channel, Calvin Richardson played softly in her ear on Pandora.
Loretta was born April 09, 1959 in San Antonio, TX at Baptist Hospital to Thelma & Earnest Morgan. She was a little sister to her only sibling.
She had countless of sleepless nights getting herself through Nursing school in Syracuse, NY. She became a Nurse at the age of 32 and retired at the age of 65. She loved being a Nurse and caring for others as it was her passion. She was loving, caring and compassionate which is why she made such a positive impact in the Healthcare field. She loved being with family and friends; and traveling and her spa and salon days with us girls was something she always looked forward to.
She is survived by her sister: Crystal; 3 children: Tanisha, Rea'Shanta and Keshawn; 10 grandchildren: Devon, Desirae, William, Alyssa, Aleigha, Juan, Jaedyn, J'Vionne, Ian and Eliana; 1 great grandson: Jordan; a Neice: Nikkia and a Nephew: Kene and many family and friends.
Loretta's Celebration of Life memorial will be held on Saturday May 09, 2026 at Live Oak Park at the Pavilion from 1pm - 5pm. Please bring any mementos, pictures, videos, stories, etc to share. This was her favorite poem so please enjoy it as much as she did.

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
Lord, You said that once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me."
The Lord replied,
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I Carried You."
