Loren Neal Goldsworth, beloved husband, father, and Certified Public Accountant, passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on October 17, 1959, in Colby, KS, and had been residing in Council Bluffs, IA.

Loren was a passionate outdoorsman, finding joy in fishing, camping, boating, hunting, and spending time at the shooting range. He was a man of simple tastes, enjoying his favorite foods such as steak, chicken, burgers, sauerkraut, and pineapple. Music was a big part of Loren's life, and he loved bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Journey, and Guns N' Roses.

Loren graduated with a certified Public accounting degree and worked as a CPA for over 30 years. His proudest achievement was passing the board exams and obtaining a Doctorate in Accounting and Finance. He was known for his readiness to lend a helping hand and his belief in fair opportunities and equality.

Loren cherished his three children, Stephen Goldsworth (Courtney Bailey), Jack Goldsworth (Emma Wenland), and Asha Goldsworth. He also found great happiness in his marriage to Mary-Wiese Goldsworth. Loren's parents, Loren and Vonna Goldsworth, his brother-in-law Mike Beal, and many childhood friends and relatives from a previous marriage survive him.

In the community, Loren raised money in appreciation of Breast Cancer Awareness after his daughter's diagnosis in 2021. He also served as an accountant for many small-owned businesses and companies in Omaha and Council Bluffs.

Loren will be remembered for his caring nature, always willing to help and giving his last shirt off his back. His wisdom and advice will be cherished, especially by his children. He leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and dedication to his profession. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at a later date to celebrate Loren Neal Goldsworth's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation in his honor.
