Lonnie Dean Dixon Jr., known affectionately as "The Lonster," passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 44. Born on May 21, 1980, in Belleville, Illinois, Lonnie spent the majority of his life in , Illinois.
Lonnie had a mischievous spirit and loved nothing more than to pester people for fun. He found joy in fishing, one of his favorite hobbies, and could often be found casting his line into the water, hoping for a big catch. Lonnie's taste in food was simple yet satisfying, and he had a particular fondness for hamburgers.
When he wasn't out on the water or indulging in a hamburger, Lonnie enjoyed watching his favorite TV show, Roseanne. It provided him with laughter and entertainment.
Lonnie was blessed with a loving family. He leaves behind his daughter, Brittany, and his sons, Caleb, Aaron, Colben, and Grayson.
Lonnie's parents, Sue Goskie and Floyd Goskie, (Lonnie Dixon SR. & Richard Matt) have passed away before him. Their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them.
Lonnie held Baptist beliefs and found comfort in his faith. It provided him with solace and guidance throughout his life.
Lonnie Dean Dixon Jr., lovingly known as "The Lonster", will be remembered for his mischievous spirit and his love for fishing. His family and friends will cherish the memories they shared with him, holding him close in their hearts as they bid him farewell.
