She loved the holidays, always making sure big dinners were cooked and each kid got their own homemade pie
Lois Sue Burns, born on June 2, 1953, in wynn Arkansas, passed away on September 9, 2024 in Dyersburg Tennessee. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many , known for her warmth and dedication to her family. Lois was a mother to eight children: Billy McCaine, Ted McCaine, William Burns , Marc Burns , John Burns , Ben Burns, Candyice Noel , and Shelia Burns , She also raised two of her grandchildren, Caleb and Aaron Dixon, with love and care.
Lois found joy in fishing whenever she had the chance and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Holidays were particularly special to her, as she delighted in preparing big dinners and baking homemade pies for each of her children. She had a special bond with her sister Ruth, with whom she loved spending time whenever possible.
An avid fan of Charlie Rich, Lois often found solace in music and enjoyed watching wrestling on television. Throughout her life, she was accompanied by her beloved pet, Jacks, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Burns, and her son, Billy McCaine. Her legacy of love, kindness, and family will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.
