Lois Jean Schroeder, born on October 21, 1943, in Waterford Township, MI, passed away on September 22, 2024, in the same town she called home for most of her life.
Lois dedicated 30 years of her career as an instructional technician at Kingsley Montgomery School, where she touched the lives of many students with her hard-working and kind nature. She cherished her family above all, finding immense joy in her marriage to the late Ronald Schroeder and nurturing her children, Rick, Sherry, and Renee. Lois was a proud grandmother to Amber, Autumn, Halie, Mark, Chad, and Michael, and delighted in her role as a great-grandmother to TJ, Tyler, Aidan, Ayvah, Averie, and Hudson, as well as a great-great-grandmother to Annmaree, Troy, Addie, Braxton, Tyler, Finnley, and Oakley.
In her leisure time, Lois found solace in crocheting, reading, and putting together puzzles. She was a devoted fan of country music, with a special fondness for the melodies of Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, and Patsy Cline.
Lois will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to her family, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy will continue through her beloved family and the many lives she influenced throughout her years.
We'll plant real trees for you in Lois's memory and display your contribution forever.
