Obituary
Lois Jean Chapman Alexander, a woman of grace, faith, and unwavering love, passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona. Born on December 26, 1948 she was the youngest of six children born to Mathew and Beatrice Chapman.
Lois graduated from Bransford High School in 1966 and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age under the leadership of Rev. Samuel Girder at Beards Chapel Baptist Church. She was a devoted member—attending Sunday School, singing in the choir, and serving on the Usher Board.
In the early 1970s, Lois moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she continued her spiritual journey at New Haven Missionary Baptist Church. In 1980,she married the love of her life, Kenny Alexander. Together they raised their son, James Mathew Alexander after moving to Phoenix Arizona
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Beatrice Chapman; her siblings Lillie Mae Chapman, Eddie Lee Chapman, and Lena Mae Harris.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through
- Her son James Mathew Alexander and his wife Leticia Nicole Rivera Alexander, and their children: Keyana, Tyler, Mya,Jayce, jr, and tavares jr.
- Her son Damon Mandel Alexander and his wife Bridgette Alexander, and their children: Diamond, Mariah, Mi Asia, and Xavier, and one great-grandchild NyRae
-her God daughter Tina dale
-And God son Adrian Mancilla
- Her sisters Pauline Holland and Virginia Hiser
- A host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
