Livia Lee Johnson
February 15, 1978 – April 1, 2026
Livia Lee Johnson, 48, of Chicago, Illinois, peacefully transitioned from this life on April 1, 2026. Born on February 15, 1978, Livia lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and purpose, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to uplift and inspire.
Livia devoted her life’s work to caring for others as a mental health professional at Rodgers in Wisconsin. She was truly called to this path, offering healing, understanding, and light to those navigating life’s challenges. Her presence brought comfort, and her words often carried the power to restore hope.
A woman of deep spirit and creativity, Livia found joy in writing poetry, pouring her heart into words that spoke to the soul. She also enjoyed making candles, a reflection of the warmth and light she brought into the lives of others. Within her family, she was lovingly known as the one everyone could turn to—the listener, the guide, the “family therapist” whose wisdom and love helped hold everyone together.
Livia is survived by her devoted son, Dante Hunter Jr., who was her greatest blessing and the center of her world. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Brandy, Kamesha, Cecse, and April Johnson, along with many others whose lives were touched by her kindness and grace.
Though she is no longer with us in the physical sense, Livia’s spirit lives on. We take comfort in knowing she now rests in eternal peace, embraced by divine love. Her light continues to shine through the memories she created, the lives she healed, and the love she gave so freely.
