Lisa Shirer Stewart, born on June 27, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on August 27, 2024, in her hometown. A devoted mother and grandmother, Lisa is survived by her daughters, Christine Wilbanks Duke (Kevin Duke), Patty Wilbanks, and Corinne Stewart (Chad Cooper), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Kayden, Christian, Cameron, Carmen, and Cara Monroe.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Wanna Shirer. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Shirer, Jr., and her sister, Emilie Shirer Golub. A lifelong Catholic, Lisa’s faith was a guiding force in her life, and she will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
The celebration of her life will be on Saturday October 19th from 1-4pm at Drago's in Metairie.
