March 13, 1961 – May 6, 2026
With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Lisa Annette Maynard on May 6, 2026, at the age of 65.
Born in Galveston, Lisa spent much of her life in Corsicana, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her strength, humor, and compassionate spirit. Lisa was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every part of her life. She dedicated countless hours to her church and community organizations, always willing to serve others with generosity and love.
Lisa was truly a force to be reckoned with. She had a sharp wit, a contagious sense of humor, and a personality that could light up any room. Whether she was sharing stories, making people laugh, or offering encouragement, she left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her.
She found joy in life’s simple treasures like playing bingo, thrifting for hidden gems, and especially spending time doing arts and crafts with her beloved grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.
Lisa leaves behind her loving children, Christina, Micky, and Jamie; her cherished grandchildren Hayden, Iyana, Caidance, Skyla, and Shelby; her father, Wesley Farr, and his wife Martha; and her siblings Bubba, Angela, Renee, Dennis, and Matt.
She was preceded in death by her mother Victoria; her sister Denise; her niece Heather; and her beloved fiancée Richard, whom she deeply loved and missed.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Lisa’s faith was strong and her love remains with us always. Her laughter, strength, devotion, and unforgettable spirit will continue to live on through the family and friends she cherished so deeply.
A memorial service celebrating Lisa’s life will be held at San Gabriel Park in the Cypress Pavilion on May 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
