Linda Yvonne Cooks, lovingly known as Linda, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on September 19, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, and most recently resided in Plainview, Texas.
Linda's greatest joys in life were her family and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, their laughter filling her heart with immeasurable happiness. Linda was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, William Cooks.
Linda was a caring and dedicated mother. She leaves behind her son, Troy Cooks Sr., and his wife, Vaness, as well as her daughter, Stacy Wright, and her husband, Michael Wright. She was a proud grandmother to Victoria Cooks, Troy Cooks Jr., Anthony Wright, and Destiny Wright.
Linda's kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
