Linda Yokley, born on October 7, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 19, 2024, in Evansville, Indiana. A devoted animal lover, Linda was particularly passionate about her dogs and found joy in activities such as gardening, collecting antiques, raising ducks, and attending dog shows.
Throughout her life, Linda was a vibrant member of her community. She proudly owned and operated the 88 Antique Mall in Eighty Eight, Kentucky, and also a Kentucky Cournal, contributing her talents and energy to its success. As a member of Ducks Unlimited, she showed her commitment to environmental conservation and wildlife preservation.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Emily Smith and Rachel Yokley, and her beloved grandson, John Mark Benson. She is also remembered by her sister, Karen Jackson and her children. Linda was married to the late Mark Yokley.
Known for her infectious sense of humor, Linda had a unique ability to make others laugh and brighten their day. Her favorite saying, "Just chill out," served as a reminder to take life lightly and enjoy the moment. A lifelong Christian, Linda's faith was an essential part of her life and shaped her interactions with those around her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
