Linda loved watching sports. She was passionate about college and professional football, especially the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan. She enjoyed hockey, baseball and tennis as well.
Linda was a horror movie fanatic. Her favorites included the Halloween series, Trick or Treat, and M. Night Shyamalan. She loved the Godfather, Jaws and classic Christmas movies.
spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Some would argue that she loved her sons and daughter in law more than her own children!
were Boris, Albert and Elenor. She often said that she loved animals more than people.
her dedicated husband Lewis and children Michael (Inelda), Amanda (Timothy), Kathryn (Joey), and Julia (Adam). She was most proud of her grandchildren - Alexandra, Abigail, Alyson, Makayla, Julia, Arabella, Mason, Maverick, and Michael.
Linda enjoyed history and spending time at Greenfield Village, Frankenmuth, and Michigan in the fall. She also loved Disneyland.
Linda Sue Sciriha, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, following a battle with multiple brain tumors.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Lewis; her son Michael (Inelda) Walsh, daughters, Amanda (Timothy) Barrette, Kathryn (Joey) Abbruzzino, and Julia (Adam) Sciriha; nine grandchildren; and close friends.
Linda was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and is the daughter of Douglas Miller. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother - leaving work to become a stay at home grandma when her first grandchild was born. She continued on in this role when she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2013 with her husband to be closer to her youngest daughter, and newest grandchild.
Linda never missed a dance recital, baseball game, karate tournament or school function. She was known to all as Grammy.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
