She attended and graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1959. After early positions at the News & Tribune newspaper and the Fashion Shop store, Linda went on to spend much of her adult life working for and eventually retiring from the City of Jeffersonville.
A former member of Sigma Phi Gamma sorority, Linda was beloved by her family and her amazing & lifelong friends and neighbors. She was known for her strong independence, intelligence, quick wit, and great sense of humor. Linda enjoyed life, cherished her vintage slot machine, cared for dogs, and made lasting impacts on everyone she met.
Her spare time was filled with her love of roses and gardening, special lunches with her friends, adding to her collection of unique Christmas ornaments and decorations, and watching for birds of all kinds, especially hummingbirds, in her many feeders. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
