Linda Karen Meadows Hogue, born on August 24, 1949, in Sealy, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024, in Pasadena, Texas. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who cherished every moment spent with her family.
Linda was married to Marshall Woodrow Hogue, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond. Together, they raised a wonderful family that included her children, Billy Wayne and wife Camille Corley of Huntsville, TX, Steven Charles Corley and partner Michelle Lilley of Trinity, TX, Shayla Renee Corley of Nacogdoches, TX, Shellin Malinda Hogue of Houston, TX, Marshall Wayne Hogue, wife Vicki of Pearland, TX, Michael Anthony Hogue and wife Rhonda of Thompson, GA, Patrick Lee Hogue and wife Julia of Acworth, GA, and James Mason and wife Toye of Bacliff, TX.
Linda was a proud grandmother to many, including Michael Corley and wife Kaylee of The Woodlands, TX, Christopher Corley of Conroe, TX, Matthew Jordan of Huntsville, TX, Emily Wilson of Huntsville, TX, Lauren Sparks of Bullard, TX, Zoi Corley of Houston, TX, Sarah Renee McCoy and husband Josh of Conroe, TX, Zachary Wright of Nacogdoches, TX, Charles Hogue and wife Victoria of Austin, TX, Ryan Hogue and wife Taylor of Austin, TX, Emily Hogue of Pearland, TX, Jillian Hogue of Thompson, GA, Jordan Hogue of Thompson, GA, Haylee Hogue of Acworth, GA, Payton Hogue of Acworth, GA, Brad Mason, Kaylee Tidwell, and Michael Mason.
She is survived by her sister Jeanette Irene Meadows Barley and husband Hayden of Huntington, TX, and sister-in-law Debbie Meadows of Deer Park, TX, with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry Meadows and Gladys Jewel Meadows, her brother Charles Randal Meadows, and her daughter-in-law Lori Hogue.
Linda had a passion for creativity, often spending time doing crafts with her grandchildren. She was also a talented pianist, filling her home with music and joy. Above all, her greatest love was for her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
