Linda D. Danicls was born October 18, 1941, in Kilgore, Texas to the late Louis and Hazel Daniels. She peacefully transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of faith, education and service.
Linda united with Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church over 60 years ago under the leadership of the late Rev. I.G. Graham. She continued her faithful service under Rev. Norris Hamilton, Rev. Robert Murphy and most recently, Pastor Lesley Booker, until her health no longer allowed.
A proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Linda earned her Bachelor's Degree in education and began her professional journey as a dedicated School Teacher. After several years in the education field, she transitioned to the United Stated Postal Service, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 2006.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Louis and Hazel
Daniels.
She leaves behind her beloved cousin Shirley Carter of Detroit, Michigan, whom she loved dearly, and her devoted daughter Cinthy Wheat and Grandson Marcus Badger loving cousin Dianetta Reddic, who cared for her lovingly and faithfully until her final days. Their bond was a testament to the deep love and loyalty that marked Linda's life.
Linda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and
commitment to her family, her church, and all those she served.
