Lillian Beatrice Robinson, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on January 22, 1957, in Chicago, IL, at Presbyterian Sanatorium Hospital and most recently resided in Oak Lawn, IL. She graduated from Kennedy-King college with a degree in Liberal Arts and Science.

Lillian was an exceptional mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Lillian leaves to cherish her memories: Two daughters: Muriel Robinson-Perez and Toyya Joy Robinson, one brother: Mark Morgan(Octavia), one sister: Denise Woods (Jesse), three grandchildren: Nathaniel Coller, Nigel Collier, and Zeeda Collier, Two Neices: Octavia Sahko, Portia Morgan, four nephews: Charles Woods Jr, Tobias Woods, Devell Jarvis Wilson, and Devonji Lance Wilson, one Uncle: Ivery Brown and very special cousins: Charmayne Black and Stacey Ware and several more family and friends, whom were all loved by her.

Lillian had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of activities. She loved playing Bid Whist and Spades with her family and spending time with friends at the casinos and restaurants. At home, she found joy in watching movies and television shows, as well as playing card games, board games, and puzzles with her daughters. Lillian had a passion for delicious food, especially fried chicken, fried fish, collard greens, black-eyed peas, and cornbread. Honorable mentions are Crab Legs, Lobster Tails, Shrimp, and Steak. Music was also a great source of happiness for her, with favorite artists like Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, R-Kelly, Lauren Hill, and Alicia Keys filling her playlists.

Above all else, Lillian loved her children. Her daughters, Muriel Robinson-Perez and Toyya Robinson, held a special place in her heart. Lillian found solace and contentment at her parents' house, which she considered her favorite place in the world. She cherished the time spent there with loved ones.

Professionally, Lillian worked as a Mental Health Technician at Howe Developmental Center for over 20 years, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication in the mental health field. She took pride in her role, as well as in raising her daughters.

Lillian was known for her vibrant personality. Her infectious laughter and radiant smile brightened the lives of those around her. She was confident, unapologetically herself, and embraced her individuality. Lillian's down-to-earth nature endeared her to everyone she encountered.

Loved ones will remember Lillian for her ability to bring light, warmth, and love to any situation. Her generous and caring spirit touched the lives of many. She selflessly cared for those in need and made sacrifices for her children. Lillian's energy was contagious, and people enjoyed being in her presence.

Lillian leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Lillian was raised with Baptist-Christian values and held firmly to her faith, finding strength in the phrase, "This too shall pass" and the belief that she could do all things through Christ who strengthened her.
