Lillian "Gert" Ferrin, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on January 29, 1940, in St. John's, NL, Canada, and most recently resided in Shasta Lake, CA.
Gert had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. She was an avid fan of World of Outlaws racing and spent countless hours watching game shows and playing games on her computer. Her favorite TV shows were game shows, which always brought a smile to her face. Gert found great joy in dirt car racing, particularly the World of Outlaws and Nascar.
Above all else, Gert cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her loving family. She treasured every moment spent with them and was a pillar of love and support.
In addition to her family, Gert had a lifetime partner, Gary Beattie, with whom she shared thirty years of companionship. Their bond was a testament to their deep love and commitment to one another.
Gert is survived by her children Patty Lara (Dan), Deborah Estey, and John Ferrin. She was a doting grandmother to Lillian Adame, Francis Ferrin (Kathleen), Maria Brown, Alicia Johnston, Davina Ferrin, Richard Ferrin, Scott Ferrin, Richard Ferrin 3rd (Carol), and Tanya Ferrin. Many Grea grandchildren and great greats. Gert is also survived by her brother Frank Hennebury and sister Daphne Hennebury Snow.
Lillian "Gert" Ferrin will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. May she rest in peace, knowing she has left a lasting legacy of love and cherished memories.
