Lila Mae Scott, lovingly known as Lil, Lilly, or Princess, passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 12. She was born on February 10, 2011, in Houston, TX, and most recently resided in State College, PA.
Lila had a vivacious spirit and a love for life. She had a passion for dancing and playing with animals, finding joy in every graceful movement and furry encounter. Bananas were her favorite food, and she couldn't resist their sweet taste. Lil Peep was her go-to musical artist, and their music always brought a smile to her face.
One interesting fact about Lila was that she had a pacemaker, reminding us of her strength and resilience. But above all, Lila loved nothing more than her family. She cherished every moment spent with them and held them close to her heart. Her room, her safe haven, was her favorite place in the world.
Lila didn't watch television but found delight in playing volleyball. Her love for the sport brought her closer to others, fostering meaningful connections. For Lila, life was all about creating bonds and spreading kindness. She would often say, "duhhhh," bringing laughter and light to those around her.
Her academic achievements were something she took great pride in, as she earned straight A's for three consecutive years. Lila's dream was to become a veterinarian, driven by her deep compassion for animals.
Lila leaves behind her beloved partner, Chris, who shared many beautiful memories with her. Although they did not have children, Lila's impact on the lives of others was profound. She had a contagious energy and generosity that touched the hearts of many. Lila was always there to lend a helping hand and be a friend to those in need.
While she was not involved in any specific community organizations, Lila's kind soul and outgoing nature left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have crossed her path. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lila had a strong Christian faith that guided her throughout her life. Her belief in a higher power provided her with comfort and strength.
In this time of grief, we remember Lila Mae Scott for her vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. She will forever be cherished and remembered for the joy she brought to others. May she rest in eternal peace.
We'll plant real trees for you in lila's memory and display your contribution forever.
