Leta Werito Dale, born on January 23, 1941, in Bisti, New Mexico, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Farmington, New Mexico. A devoted Christian, Leta was known for her warm heart and vibrant spirit.

For 21 years, Leta dedicated herself to her work at Golden Corral, where she created lasting memories with her colleagues and patrons. As a single mother, she raised four daughters: Corrine, Colleen, Cornelia, and Cheryl, instilling in them the values of love and resilience.

Leta enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected her joyful personality. She found solace in crocheting, relished the thrill of shopping, and looked forward to her cherished Thursday breakfasts. Her culinary favorites included Kids Enchiladas without sauce, steak from Texas Roadhouse, and meals at Freddy’s and TJ’s Diner, as well as Wednesdays at Baptist.

Music was an essential part of her life; she loved listening to Jim Felix, hill songs, Kenny Chesney, and oldies. Leta also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, including Judge Judy, Rachael Ray, Kelly Clarkson, Family Feud, and Lifetime programming, which brought entertainment and joy to her daily routine.

Leta will be remembered fondly by her family and friends for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a deep love for her daughters.
