Lester W. "Willie" Robinson, Sr., 71, of Lima, passed away at 8:17 PM on Wednesday January 31st at UAB Hospital.

He was born on June 7, 1953 in Chocktow Bluff, Alabama to Mack Robinson, Sr. and Christien (Fox) Robinson, who both preceded him in death.

Willie had worked for over 25 years for Spherion Staffing at Proctor and Gamble.

Surviving are his son DeMario Travell Walton of Minneapolis, MN; his daughter Reneta Shanta Robinson of Ft. Wayne, IN; his grandchildren Achia Nance, Savian Walton, Christopher Glenn, Jr., Dazarion Glenn and Julian Walton; his great-grandchildren A'mirias Newsome and A'niyas Newsome; his brothers Mack (Mary) Robinson, Jr. of Clark County, AL, James Robinson of Birmingham, AL, Milton (Stephanie) Robinson of Birmingham, AL, (Jade Jala Robinson) Demetrius (Randy) Robinson of Birmingham, AL (Olivia Robinson Brandon Robinson ;his sisters Sherry D. Brown and Jeanette (Gene) Sims (Kaitlyn Sims Kyler Sims )both of Birmingham, AL; his brother-in-law Willie Williams of Macintosh, AL. Also surviving are his special aunt Ida Wilson of Lima; his special uncle Sam Robertson of Alabama; his special nephew Nick Williamson; his aunt Nettie R. Woodard of West Chester, OH; his special friend Lisa Marshall of Lima and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by son Lester Robinson, Jr.; his brothers Jackie, Timothy and Brad Robinson; his half-sister Linda Faye Williams; his special friend Sheri Williamson.
