Obituary
My mother was born as Leslie Jona Bowyer on February 12, 1959 to Jack Evan Bowyer and Judith Gail Miles-Bowyer. Her father, Uncle Gary Bowyer and grandfather, Jack Sr. was waiting with open arms as she gained her angel wings. Her grandmother, Mary Bowyer is still living well past 100 years old! She was the oldest sister to Richard Bowyer (Rhonda) and Jill Maenz (Darren) and the younger sister to Terri Bowyer. She was blessed with a stepmom, Elizabeth Bowyer and a stepsister, Jamie McPherson. She was married once to Jeff Ritchie from 1979-1992. They had one daughter, Laura "Jennifer" Ritchie (Chris). She had 4 grandchildren.. Three grandsons, Avery 21, Jack 16, Devon 11 and one granddaughter, Hadley 9. They sure loved their "Nana" and will miss her tremendously. She will forever live in our hearts.
Fundraiser for Leslie
Fortunately, the trustee paid for my mom's cremation. I am still in the process of putting together a private service for family&friends to celebrate the life of my lovely mother. I would like to raise enough to also purchase memorial items, not just for myself but our family members, as well. Any amount small or large is deeply appreciated. So are all of the prayers, calls and messages during this difficult process.
