Obituary

Leroy "Lee" Taylor, a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend, passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on April 19, 1962, in Atlanta, GA, and spent the majority of his life in his beloved hometown.

Lee had an undeniable passion for sports, particularly the Atlanta Falcons. Whether he was cheering from the stands or watching the games on TV, he found immense joy in supporting his favorite team. In addition, he had a profound appreciation for his wife's home-cooked soul food meals, which always brought a smile to his face.

However, above all else, Lee cherished his children, Chelsey, Myles, and Morgan, more than life itself. Their happiness and success were his greatest motivations, and he constantly encouraged them to reach for the stars.

Lee spent 15 years as a FedEx truck driver, dedicating himself to his profession with unwavering commitment. His military retirement and his children were among his proudest accomplishments, reflecting his strong work ethic and love for his family.

Known for his quick wit and supportive nature, Lee brought laughter and encouragement into the lives of those he encountered. He firmly believed in making the most of the one life God gave him, and his optimistic thinking left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Taylor, and sister, Jan Taylor. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. As they mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, they find solace in the knowledge that Lee's spirit will live on in their hearts.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Lee's life and honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, a cause that Lee passionately supported throughout his life.
