Loved growing up in Laramie with friends and cousins. Graduated from high school in 1980. Moved to Los Alamos, NM in 1984 to pursue a job as a guard for the government labs. Married Lori Hill in 1985. Had first daughter, Erica, in 1988. Moved to Golden, CO and started new career at Rocky Flatts in 1991. Had second daughter, Cassandra, in 1992. Moved to Thornton, CO in 1993. Had third daughter, Amber, in 1994. Lori and LeRoy divorced in 1999. LeRoy also started working at Weld County Sheriff Department as he was nearing the end of his Rocky Flatts career. Started working as a security guard for Adams 12 Five Star School District in 2004. Met Barbara Romero in 2010 and started their relationship. They together moved to Brighton, CO. Became grandpa to first grandson, Jesse, in 2018. Became grandpa to first granddaughter, Adelynn, in 2019. More grandkids to follow in 2020, Madilynn, 2021, Ryker, and 2022, Tyler.
