Leonard Taylor Jr was the son of Lena Taylor and Leonard Taylor Sr. Leonard Taylor Jr was born April 19,1954, In Detroit Michigan at Hutzel Hospital. Leonard attended Northwestern High School and Oakland Community College. He further attended Dorsey College to become an electrocution. He graduated from Oakland Community College and Dorsey. He also was a teacher for Detroit Public school for 10 years.

Leonard then met his first love, Joan Jones, in 1972.  Leonard and Joan have a beautiful daughter Rochelle Jones. Leonard then proceeded to move to Houston, Texas where he met Shirley Jackson. Shirley and Leonard have 3 beautiful children and were married for 12 years. Leonard was loving, funny, and a ride or die for his family. Leonard loved cars and could tell you anything about them.

Leonard departed this earth on May 9th,2025. His mom Lena Taylor, His father Leonard Taylor Sr, His wife Shirley Jackson, his brother Jospeh Taylor, his sister Kandy Baker and sister Edrena Taylor preceded him in death. Leonard leaves us to cherish: his brother Gregory Taylor, sister Rochelle Taylor, Gebra Monroe, Kimberly Monroe, daughter Rochelle Jones, Daughter Keisha Taylor, daughter Shantel Taylor, son Jason Taylor. Granddaughter A’lanta Jones, Grandson joey Taylor.
