He was a Christmas baby. He was our Father's right hand man in his building demolition and lumber yard. He loved joking around, laughing and he was a prankster, especially as a young man. He was impeccably reliable. He was an early riser. Spring and fall were his favorite seasons. He loved cookouts. And although very quiet, he loved family gatherings and family meals.
A peaceful day with family and loved ones sharing good food and enjoying each other's company. A fresh, hot cup of coffee with a good breakfast and a cigarette to follow.

Assistant to our father in his Lumber Yard and Demolition business, Commercial truck driver.
Loved life, his family and trucking. Selfless, extremely high pain tolerance, expert driver in all weather conditions, sacrificial, loyal, candid, hard worker, peace maker, didn't sweat the small stuff.
He cared for his family allowing our parents the ability to age in place and affording his siblings a home to always return to.
He had many cats and dogs throughout his life. His last pet was his cat, Tiger, who would sit on the couch with him, follow him as he walked to the mailbox and at times slept in his bed.

Leonard played the Bügel in the Young Marine's as a child. However, listening to music on the radio was what he enjoyed more as an adult.
Leonard was a loyal, hard working; intelligent, inquisitive, loving and peaceful old soul who loved trucking, wrestling, joking around, laughing, home cooked meals, and being in the company of family and loved ones.
To keep on trucking baby. To live his life purposefully, fully and with meaning while being afforded equal access to the resources and opportunities that many of his age mates, peers and neighbors took for granted.
