Leon Lopez Williams

December 5, 1952 – February 5, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Leon Williams on February 5, 2025 at the age of 73. A beloved son, father, friend, grandfather and brother. He brought love, kindness, and strength to all who knew him.

Born in Detroit, MI, Leon most recently lived in Columbus, OH.

Leon loved to watch sports, such as football and basketball, and was passionate about playing the piano, guitar & violin. Family was at the heart of everything he did, and the bond shared amongst each of them⁰ was a testament to a life rich in love and connection.

Leon was preceded in death by his only daughter, Trinia Williams, his wife, Eleanor Foster Williams, his parents, Ebb Williams & Freddie Lue Bristol, and his siblings Carolyn, Anne, Tom & Mary. Their love and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.

He is survived by his brothers Robert & Freddie, his former wives Renee Williams & Martha Beasley, his only granddaughter, Precious Williams, his great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Leon’s life will be held on February 22, 2025 at Otie’s Tavern & Grill, located at 5344 Center St. Hilliard, OH 43206.
