Leo Westley Smith , known by his family as Sunny. Sunny was proceeded in death by his wife Jeannine and mother and father, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters, Sunny had lost 2 of his own children, and 2 of his grandchildren who also passed before him. Sunny was born in Scott city February/ 19/1939. He had a very hard life and up bring. Sunny went on to merry and had 7 children, and 4 stepchildren. Multiples grandchildren's and great grandchildren . Sunny was 86 years old when he had his heart attack March /16/ 2025 . He was at home and was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was gathered by family and friends when he passed away. Sunny mostly spent his life with the love of his life’ his wife Jeannine, and their 2 dogs. He loved fishing and gardening .” He loved him some fried chicken. His favorite team was The Chiefs’ Go Chiefs! Also, he loved wood working when he could. Sunny worked most of his life as a maintenance man, and construction worker. He volunteered back in the day to delivered Meals on wheels until he couldn’t. Sunny was the last of all his siblings. So You know there is a big party in Heaven with all his loved ones who had passed before him, Sunny greatly and deeply missed them all.
May Leo Westley Smith Rest in Peace’ he will be missed by all who loved him.
