Leighanne Heguy ( Leighanne Pepping), affectionately known as Stormy, passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 63. She was born on November 2, 1960, in El Paso County, Texas, and most recently resided in Federal Heights, Colorado. She leaves behind a daughter Jessica Jeffers and two grand children Jayden and Jaxson.

Leighanne dedicated her professional life to the human resources sector within the mining industry, where she was known for her wit and humor. Beyond her career, she was a passionate artist who loved crafting, painting, and drawing. She found joy in simple pleasures, including indulging in her favorite treat, Moonpies.

Music was a significant part of Leighanne's life; she cherished the timeless melodies of The Beatles and the soulful voice of Adele. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, Ghost Hunters, often sharing her thoughts and laughter with family and friends.

Leighanne is survived by her daughter Jessica, along with her beloved grandchildren, Jaxson, Jayden, Julianne, and Logan. She is also survived by her mother, Glorianne Rhorer, her brother, Michael Rhorer, and her sister, Cristy Rhorer.

Her vibrant personality and ability to make others laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Leighanne leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished memories.
