Lee James Donovan, born on May 9, 1963, in Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, in Norco, California. He was a devoted husband to Susan Suder Donovan and a loving father to his four children: Danielle (husband Joshua) and their four children, Alexis, Hunter, Beau, and Max; Darren (wife Ashley) and their three children, Jack, Nathaniel, and Blair; James and his two sons, Sebastian and Elliott; and Tyler.
Lee was known for his carefree attitude and relaxed demeanor, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. He dedicated his career to carpentry and construction management, always taking pride in his work. An avid lover of the outdoors, Lee found solace in fishing and spending quality time with his family, often retreating to his favorite place, the Mammoth Mountains.
He was a passionate fan of hockey, particularly the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and enjoyed diving whenever he had the chance. His spirit of generosity extended beyond his family, as he dedicated time to genealogy and volunteered at the national archives, valuing the importance of history and connection.
Lee will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
