Layloni D. Russ, 26, Born in Sylacauga on September 5,1999, Layloni was a compassionate caregiver, working as both a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Registered Nurse (RN). Her dedication to helping others extended far beyond the workplace—she brought comfort, laughter, and light into every room she entered.

Layloni’s love for her family was unmatched. She is survived by her beloved mother and father Shaquanah Oden , Jelani Russ and her cherished siblings: DeMya Russ, Jamir Russ, and Jaeyln Russ. Her bond with them was deep and unshakable, built on shared memories, inside jokes, and an endless well of love.

To know Layloni was to love her. Whether she was dancing in the kitchen, cheering someone on through hard times, or offering a shoulder to cry on, she was the kind of person who made life brighter for everyone around her.

Her absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on May 29,2026 at Church of Christ . All who knew and loved Layloni are welcome to attend and share in remembering the beautiful soul she was.
