Laura lived most of her life in Florida with a small stint in NC. Laura was a mother to Walter Sterling and Tharon James (TJ) . Laura was the daughter of Gloria Calloway Califano and Calvin King, sister of John King, Wendy Stevens Bixman (Jay) and Kelly Califano. Laura had 6 nephews, 3 nieces, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Laura was proceeded in death by her Father, Her newborn son TJ, her cousin Caleb King, and her son Walter passed with her. There are no words to express the grief we feel for Laura and Walter being taken from us so soon. Laura will always be remembered for her sharp sense of humor, her empathy and kindness and her razor sharp tongue when she was crossed….. we wouldn’t want her any other way! She will always live on in our memories and our hearts.
