Laura loved nothing more than

her children and grandchildren. But she loved so many other children through the years. She was loved by everyone that meet her and would do anything for anyone.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Thomas Edward and Audrey Mae Howell. Several Sisters Joy Thomassee, Carol Howell and Lena May O'Bannon.

Obituario

Laura Jean Howell-Coffman, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on May 5, 1949, in Vowells Mill, Louisiana, she spent her final years in Blanchard, Louisiana.

Known affectionately as Jean, she dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, cherishing them above all else. Laura had a remarkable ability to connect with children, extending her love and care to so many throughout her life. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Laura is survived by her three children: Steven Taylor of Blanchard, Louisiana; Alvin Taylor of Mooringsport, Louisiana; and Merle Wayne Coffman (Angela) of BeeBee, Arkansas. She was immensely proud of her grandchildren: Baron Thomas (Lynnzie), Steven Taylor (Tiffany), Wade Allen, Lynsie Moore, Max Taylor, Isabella Coffman, and Cory Coffman (Krystal), who were her greatest accomplishments.

Additionally, Laura is survived by her brother, Byron Edward Howell, residing in the Philippines. Her loving spirit will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
