Loved listening to Elvis Presley, and watching old Western movies. Laura loved gardening along with watching Memphis Tigers basketball games and also loved watching Ole Miss Rebel football games
Laura Inez Hurdle Rische born December 24, 1948 of Taylor,Ms to a Dave and Elizabeth Hurdle. Laura passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 76, very suddenly and unexpected.
Laura is survived by her loving husband Ernest Rische and her cherished children Lisa, Carolyn, Beth, Gloria, Pam, Tina, and Charlie Rische. Laura also leaves behind a brother and sister Dean Hurdle and Martha Thornton of Oxford, MS.
Laura's vibrant spirit will continue to live on through her 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
In the sky of memory, Laura is reunited with her loving parents, Dave and Elizabeth Hurdle, her sister Charlote Hurdle, her son-in-law Roy Kitterman along side of 1 granchild Jacob Kitterman, and 2 great gran children Lauria Sauceda and Levi Kelley who all preceded her in death. Their shared memories and love strengthen the family's faith in an external reunion.
A true matriarch, Laura's life and the memories of her will be valued and passed down through generations. These heartfelt memories are a testament of her nurturing and loving nature.
Laura was also a patron of the arts, finding great pleasure in the music of Elvis Presley and the charm of Old Western Movies.
Laura was a dedicated fan of the Memphis Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels, cheering on her favorite teams brought her much joy and satisfaction. Gardening served as a fruitful pastime for Laura. The gardens she nurtured, just like her family, bloomed under her patient care and diligent efforts.
Though Laura's departure was sudden and unexpected her life was filled with love, joy, and laughter.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.....
