LATOYA Michelle FREEMAN, affectionately known as Tee, Tico, and Tiky, was born on May 10, 1981, in Knoxville, TN. She peacefully passed away on December 29, 2023, in Memphis, IN.
LATOYA's favorite foods included barbeque without sauce, and her love for a variety of music was evident, with gospel being her all-time favorite genre. She was a basketball enthusiast and found joy in watching and playing the sport.
LATOYA's defining trait was her unwavering commitment to being there for anyone who needed her. She was a hard worker, never missing a day, and commanded respect from those around her as a great manager. Her life motto, "Um here on earth for a reason," reminded everyone of her purpose and determination.
One of LATOYA's proudest accomplishments was finally being able to visit her remaining family members and friends in Knoxville, reconnecting with loved ones she hadn't seen in a while. She was in a loving relationship with Nika Brown for nine years, weathering all storms together.
Though LATOYA did not have biological children, she had numerous stepchildren who held a special place in her heart. She adored her five plus grandchildren and cherished the bond they shared.
LATOYA is survived by her two brothers and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her impact on the lives of others was profound. No matter the time of day, LATOYA was always available for a conversation, leaving those she spoke with feeling empowered and ready to face any challenge.
As we bid farewell to LATOYA Michelle FREEMAN, let us remember her forgiving and understanding nature and strive to keep her spirit alive in our own lives. May she find eternal peace and continue to inspire us from above.
