Latasha Rogers, beloved wife, mother, and high school teacher, passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 67 in Houston, Texas, her birthplace and the city she called home. She was born on January 13, 1957.
Latasha was a vibrant soul who found joy in various hobbies, including cooking, couponing, gardening, and salsa dancing. She delighted in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones, with veal, mac n cheese, and pizza being some of her favorite foods.
One of Latasha's greatest passions was helping others, especially those in need. She dedicated countless hours to volunteer work, making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. Latasha truly believed in the motto "Live every day like it's your last," reminding everyone to cherish each moment.
Jamaica held a special place in Latasha's heart, being her favorite destination in the world. She cherished the memories made in the beautiful island country.
As a high school teacher, Latasha made significant contributions in shaping the minds of countless students. Her dedication to education and her commitment to her role were admirable.
Latasha was happily married to Henery Rogers, and together they shared a lifetime of love and companionship. She is survived by her son, Henery Jr, and daughter, Gail Rogers. Latasha's love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
