Lashaun Lorea Young was given to us on February 8, 1998. She has sadly passed away on August 26, 2024. Lashaun or “LaLa” was a dedicated student currently attending the University of Southern California, where she pursued her academic passions while balancing the joys of motherhood.

Lashaun was a loving mother to her two children, Sandra, age 4, and Micheal, age 2, who were the center of her world. She was in a committed relationship with Marcus Bradshaw, with whom she shared many beautiful moments. Lashaun was known for her bubbly and charismatic personality, always nurturing those around her. Her kindness and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on her family, friends, and community.

As a longhorn shift manager, Lashaun was recognized as Employee of the Quarter, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to her work. She was also a devoted Christian, finding strength and comfort in her faith.

Lashaun is survived by her loving mother, Corrin Young; father, Samuel Young; and brother, Samuel Young Jr. Her spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Lashaun's life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Harrell Funeral Home, located at 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745, at 12:00 PM. Those wishing to attend are kindly asked to RSVP by calling 803-513-4369.
