Laniee Olivia Jacobs, known affectionately as Laniee or Lani-loo, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 14. Born on June 13, 2009, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a beloved member of the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Laniee was a vibrant and energetic young girl who had a passion for sports, with cheerleading being her absolute favorite. She was a talented athlete and found joy in participating in track events as well. Laniee's love for physical activities also extended to swimming, which brought her great pleasure.

Aside from her athletic pursuits, Laniee had a flair for fashion and makeup. She had an eye for style and took delight in expressing herself through her clothing and beauty choices. Additionally, Laniee had a sweet tooth for cheesecake, which was her favorite indulgence.

Laniee will be remembered for her many accomplishments and contributions, particularly in the areas of track and cheer. She always gave her all in these pursuits and took pride in her achievements. Moreover, Laniee had a kind and open-minded nature, always willing to lend an ear and offer support to those around her. Her capacity to care deeply for others was a defining characteristic, and she approached relationships with love and dedication.

Laniee was survived by her brothers Tyler and Mason, who will cherish the memories they shared together. Additionally, she had a loving boyfriend with whom she had a special connection.

In her short time with us, Laniee touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. The world has lost a bright and compassionate young soul, but her memory will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace.
