Lance Adam Fraser, known affectionately as the "Gentle Giant," was born on March 22, 1989, in Red Deer, AB, Canada. He passed away suddenly on January 28, 2025, in Vancouver, BC, where he had most recently resided. Lance was a vibrant soul, whose passions for music, reading, and food defined his joyful spirit. An avid guitar player, he found immense joy in sharing his love for music with friends and family, often attending concerts and hosting gatherings filled with laughter and fun.
Lance cherished his close relationships, particularly with his siblings, Boe and Shelby, whom he often delighted with inappropriate memes. He also adored his close friends Jeremy, Tyler and Jessica who he …..Lance had a great sense of humor and a quirky personality. Lance's genuine kindness and respect extended to everyone he met. He was well-loved and well respected.
He is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Barbie Seely (Steve); father, Patrick Fraser (Shirley); brother, Boe Fraser (Jessie); sister, Shelby Binkley (Robert); and his new niece, Scarlet. Lance is also survived by his grandparents, Ron and Clarice Seely, and Irene Fraser, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Joe Fraser, aunt Cindy Beach (Fraser), and cousin Ashley Beach.
Lance had a passion for capturing the vibrant craziness of Vancouver with his phone. His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the memories he created. In honor of Lance, the family requests a tree be planted in his name. A celebration of life will take place at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and remember the joy he brought to their lives.
